Yesterday I ran an 8K race and wore my new running hat from ASICS. I normally wear an old cotton baseball cap from the 2002 US. Open. It's kind of like my lucky charm. I always wear it, it matches my running gear and it's comfortable. I was reluctant to switch it up at first, but I thought I'd give the ASICS hat a chance. I actually really liked wearing it. It fit snug to my head and was extremely breathable. It also handled the sweat well. There's only one problem... I don't know what to do with my old stand by hat. I can't just toss it. We've been through too many races together. The permanent sweat stains around the brim are evidence of all my hard work. If you have a lucky running hat then you know what I'm talking about. Change can be hard sometimes, but there are better things out there, just waiting for you to discover.
